Blue Badge

Robina Brown

I have worked as a Blue Badge tourist guide for over 20 years. I work mainly as a driver-guide, taking clients on private tours in my own vehicle, which seats up to 6 passengers. If you have a special interest, then I can take you there. I speak Italian as well as English, have a good sense of humour and enjoy life.

In London, tours can cover the main sights, such as Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, shops, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, plus of course, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Out of London tours can go to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Canterbury or Dover. We can go and explore gardens, historic houses or castles. The choice is yours. There is no set tour.

I lead walking tours in London, especially around the perimeter of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with good views of the Stadium and other venues. I am qualified to guide in the British Museum, Churchill War Rooms and the Houses of Parliament among other places.

If you prefer a tour further afield, I am also qualified for South West England, which includes Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and the Cotswolds. I am also qualified for Cumbria and the Lake District, which has some of England’s finest scenery and connections with Beatrix Potter, William Wordsworth and John Ruskin. Recent tours have included prehistoric sites and Roman Britain.

I will assist someone who uses a wheelchair to enjoy their holiday in England. Come and discover Britain with my help.
